What was the highlight of Hotel Puerta de la Luna

Pleasant stay.

Location was excellent for access to old Town by foot.

There was a bad smell of sewer gas in the elevator in block 2. This should really be attended to. The pool is not very welcoming with the jets running and the tight fencing around it. It was a bit of a letdown.

We liked it very much

The room, the hotel and the garden was very nice. Very nice building and charming location.

The dinner for my husband at Bar was not good But when he complained we didn’t have to pay for it. That’s a good thing.

Very Good

The beds were comfortable and the building was beautiful in a good location in the old town. Parking onsite was very helpful. The variety at the buffet breakfast was good.

There was a smell of sewerage in the elevator. The service in the bar was not very good.

Accessing the hotel by car is difficult. The streets are very narrow in some places. The parking is very limited. The access is steep and difficult to manoeuvre car.

Wonderful

Great hotel in a very nice city. The swimming pool is nice and offers a great view of one of the churches in the city.

The lay-out of the hotel can be a bit confusing at first. The breakfast was ok, but not great.

Great location, clean and comfortable but expensive breakfast.

The location was really good right in the central area of Baeza. It was very clean and comfortable with a fantastic terrace that we were able to eat out on and watch bats and swifts in the evening.

The parking was tricky. There was underground parking but it was quite tight for a big car. Breakfast was expensive.

Beautiful hotel representative of the look and outstanding architecture of the town.

Excellent location and beautiful building characteristic of the style of the region. Nice pool.

It was difficult to find our way to the hotel through some very narrow streets. It may be helpful to have suggestions for those arriving by car. We arrived a bit late and the only two rooms available for our party of 4 were nice but a bit disappointing with small windows and low ceilings.

it was exactly what we needed at the right price but the soundproofing is better able

the location is beautiful and the rooms are comfortable and well lit

you can hear everything! from the closest rooms tk the reception

Wonderful

The hotel was absolutely a gem with the historical building itself, location next to Baeza Cathedral in the heart of old town. Service was very polite and helpful and breakfast was excellent. Beds were 10/10, couldnt ask for better beds.

Noises could be heard slightly through the doors at day time, but hotel was quiet at night so this didnt bother us. Overall very small minus. (Sealing strip would be easy to add to the door frames? The doors itself were thick wood.) Restaurant was not open for evening meal at the time of our visit.

Would happily stay there again

Breakfast was good. Staff very helpful, they organised a taxi to pick me up at the train station on arrival. The room had no window but had a totally enclosed patio. The whole hotel was very clean and the laundry service excellent. The outside shared patio next to the pool was lovely. Reception spoke good English. Although the restaurant was not open for my first few days the bar had some decent food.

The bar closed during the afternoon, even for guests,opening again about 8pm. I would have preferred a room with some sort of window view. No window no view but a totally enclosed patio with high walls. The restaurant had a very limited menu and, I think, rather expensive.
